The Heavenly Ride Mission
To understand what Heavenly Ride is about, we should start with our team of experienced riders who are dedicated to providing a safe and smooth journey for your loved one, and combining that with their passion for motorcycles.
We believe that every ride should be a celebration of life, and we are honoured to be a part of such an important occasion.
We know it can be a very difficult time when someone dies, with all the arrangements and protocols that need to be observed. We are here to help you with the procession and will make the necessary arrangements that are required to help make the day special for all.
Our Background
The business started from an idea Mark had that would enable him to give back to the motorcycle enthusiast community; to provide a unique opportunity to give a loved one their last farewell and in a way that incorporates doing something they love.
The sidecar motorcycle hearse idea isn’t something new — it has been available on the eastern side of Australia, and around the world. However, the service didn’t exist to use sidecar hearses in Western Australia — until now.
Our funeral procession service uses purpose-built sidecars, especially designed and engineered for carrying a coffin and integrated with the motorcycle. We recently acquired the addition of an extra large trailer hearse that extends our capabilities for carrying larger caskets.
The Heavenly Ride fleet currently includes the:
- Harley Davidson Road King (2006) 1425cc Sidecar
- Triumph Rocket III (2009) 2294cc Classic sidecar.
- Bon Trike HS3 1600cc with hitch for custom hearse trailer.
As our business expands, we will continue to extend the range of motorcycle hearses in our fleet.
Introducing Mark
Hi, my name is Mark Xerri, husband to the Managing Director of Heavenly Ride, Nerissa Xerri.
My Passion for motorcycles started when I was very young at 4 years old. I was introduced by my father, Tony Xerri. He started me with my first bike, a Pee Wee 60, and quickly I moved on to a larger bike until I eventually got my licence when I was 18 years old. Ever since then, I have been a motorbike enthusiast, and have continued to ride.
I was once told by my dad to find something you're passionate about and to do that for a living. It wont feel like a job, but more like an enjoyable living – and for me that's riding my motorcycle.
To be able to have the ability to wake up each day, jump on my motorcycle and provide a service for fellow riders is a dream come true. My thanks goes to my amazing wife Nerissa – we are living my dream. Thank you sweetheart.
We would love to see the business take off here in W.A. and just keep growing and growing, to be an amazing service for all that love to ride and who are as passionate about riding as Nerissa and myself are.

Dani
As a rider on a bike hearse, I find joy in combining my passion for motorcycles with helping families and friends honour their loved ones during their final journey.Riding a motorbike gives me a sense of freedom, and helps keep my mind clear and focused, instantly making me happier. The opportunity to provide comfort and support to people during their time of need is a humbling experience, and being able to do so while doing something I love is truly fulfilling. It's an honor to be a part of creating a meaningful and memorable tribute for someone's life, and I take pride in helping to make that happen.

Brad Cole
Growing up in country Victoria, I began riding at the ripe age of 7, finding love in exploring the wilderness on my Honda XR75. Motorcycles have played an integral role in my life; I am constantly surrounded by many aspects of the motorcycle world, from motocross to MotoGP and everything in between. On the day of my 16th birthday, I obtained my motorbike licence and spent many years riding exclusively without a trace of 4-wheels insight. As a family man, I intend to pass on the wonders of motorcycles and hope they too enjoy life on 2-wheels.

Riding motorcycles for 30 years has allowed me to understand and honour your family and friends on their final journey. Hear your stories as each person like each motorcycle is unique and deserves the love and respect on their last ride in this world. Starting my motorcycle life with a BSA Bantam 175, and moving through Japanese to Harley Davidson. Riding my Harley 1200 sportster often in and around western Australia. I have been fortunate to travel different countries, and work as a motorcycle mechanic. I feel grateful that I can return to the community my love for motorcycles in a time when it was a passion for your loved ones.
